If you want to become a pharmacy technician in the state of Nebraska you need to know that you will be working in a pharmacy setting under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and assist in the day to day running of operations. SCC is the only school offering a pharmacy technician program in the state of Nebraska with a goal to graduate competent, ethical and confident entry-level pharmacy technicians who will fulfill the needs of the employer and also benefit the community as a whole. This 12-month long ASHP accredited program is offered twice a year. If you are interested in a face to face (On-Campus) program, then you should enroll in July. If you have a tight schedule and are looking for a flexible course then an online program starts in January.
The program includes:
• Classroom lectures which will teach you concepts, principles, skills, and attitudes needed to become pharmacy technicians
• Laboratory work
• Hands-on clinical experience in a variety of facilities and are provided close supervision and guidance under a licensed pharmacist.

What are the Requirements to Work as a Pharmacy Technician in Nebraska?
Nebraska requires its pharmacy technicians to obtain a license from the Nebraska State Board of Pharmacy. Certification and training are also a requirement for pharmacy technicians in the state. To start with, following are the requirements to work as a pharmacy technician in Nebraska.
